Abstract
Women are playing an increasingly important role in our society. Their statuses are also enhanced. However, traditional ideologies are deeply rooted; women are still treated unfairly, so they have to fight against traditional prejudice and self-cultivation to their status’s enhancement. This paper analysis the women’s status in Pride and Prejudice, and then gives the reason of the women’s status in the novel and Chinese women today. The author thinks women today should fight against traditional prejudice.
